Three Wishes of the Oriole tells the story of four birds - the Oriole, the Turquoise Magpie, the Pied Falconet, and the Mockingbird - who leave their beloved Dream Fragrance Garden, the place where they once studied together, to explore the wider world. Beyond their garden home, they encounter many new and wondrous friends, such as Firebird Chi Shao, the Blue Jay, the Red Pearl Butterfly, and the Fork-tailed Swift. Yet their journeys soon take a tragic turn: the Turquoise Magpie is taken by illness, the Pied Falconet is captured and forced to perform tricks, the Oriole's nest is destroyed by a vicious hound, and the Mockingbird, blinded by greed, begins to make counterfeit medicines. In her despair, the Oriole makes three heartfelt wishes - for reunion with loved ones, a life free from illness, and eternal innocence. In the end, her wishes bring the birds together once more, and harmony returns. How did this miracle come to pass?
